Getting all the players on the same page is the top-level, mission critical aspect of any social media initiative. The following stakeholder survey helps your team at emfluence ensure that on time and on budget projects flow from our company to yours.

  1. Describe a typical social media site visitor. How often are they online, and what do they generally use the web for? Include basic demographics, such as age, occupation, income level, purchasing habits. (Please profile as many different types of users as appropriate.)
  2. What is the primary action your social media site visitors should take: make a purchase, become a member, become a fan, receive information, and search for information?
  3. What is the value proposition that compels target audience to choose your company’s products and or services (cost, service, etc.)?
  4. How many visitors access your site per day and how is usage measured? What is the usage forecast after the relaunch?

Perception

  1. Describe how site visitors should perceive your social presence, as well as the site or landing page. (For example: prestigious, friendly, corporate, fun, forward thinking, innovative, cutting edge, etc.) How does this perception differ from the current perception?
  2. How is your company currently perceived offline? Do you want to carry the same kind of message through to your website?
  3. Who are your online competitors and how does your company differentiate itself from them?

  1. How do most people find out about your current website? What triggers result in visits (SEO, e-blasts, offline initiatives)? How is the URL currently distributed online and offline?
  2. What are your short-term (6-12 months) marketing plans for the social media efforts following launch?
  3. Describe your planned marketing strategy to enhance your social media efforts?
  4. How often will your message receive updates following launch and who is responsible for updates and new content?
